Thanksgiving Recap

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Thursday morning we braved the cold and windy weather for the Parade. We ended up leaving before we saw Santa because Ellie was ready to go. We met my parents and my brother and his family. It's always more fun with family.
On the way home we stopped at Starbucks so I could get a coffee. Since it was so cold I also got Ellie a hot chocolate (special treat)! When we got home we snuggled on the couch and got warm while drinking our coffees, as she said. She did, "cheers!" She has such personality at this age. So fun!
Nick played with the girls while I made mashed sweet potatoes for my husband's family and a green bean casserole for my family. Nick's family eats early and my family, later, which works perfectly since everyone lives locally and we can see each of our families. First, we went to his Aunt's house, then to my parents. I dressed the girls in sparkly tutus. They were adorable.
