Black Friday Sales and Purchases

Thursday night the girls were asleep by 8 and I shopped the deals online. I continued to shop the rest of the weekend both online and in store. We went to the mall on Friday because I wanted to try on a sweater I liked at J.Crew. Plus, everything in the store was 30% off. I was deciding on two, but Nick said the one of the left looked like "one from an ugly Christmas sweater party." I thought it would look good with jeans, but I went with the black zipper one instead. There are two zippers at the bottom and two at the neck.
I also bought this pretty bag for my make-up:
On Saturday I dropped off Summer's stocking to be monogrammed at Hatch (local kids boutique) and picked up these adorable polka dot ruffle leggings for Ellie and a pair of flower socks for Summer:
I wanted to contribute to Small Business Saturday so I also purchased these two wood quote blocks from This Little Gallery. The pink one for the playroom and the purple for Ellie's room.
I did most of my shopping this weekend online. I took advantage of the online sales and being able to shop from home. I stayed up late Thursday night after putting the girls to bed and bought a few things from Pottery Barn Kids for Ellie. On Thursday only you could save 20% off one item. I bought a few doll accessories. My favorite is this table and chair set. I can imagine Ellie will be having lots of tea parties with Snowy and her dolls. I even priced it on Amazon and the PBK one was less expensive and I trust the quality will be good. And this one is so cute!
One day last week at Target I was carrying Summer in the Ergo while she slept. Ellie took a dress off a rack, put it on, and put Snowy inside saying "he was sleeping in the Ergo just like Summer." So, I bought her this:
And, because she is obsessed with having a purse and carrying all of her doll necessities I got her this small bag with her name monogrammed on the front. I decided on the bag because she has diaper bags, but she still favors a purse. Now she can be just like Mommy!
I was happy to see Juicy Couture had a 40% off sale so I bought my favorite velour pants. These are my favorite sweats and the only ones I will wear out of the house. They may be expensive, but they are good quality and get lots of wear. I also bought this plaid shirt from American Eagle with their 50% off sale. I've been wanting a new one and am hoping it fits well.

On Friday Anthropologie was having 20% off all day. I bought a gift (so I won't reveal), but I also bought this monogrammed door knocker that I love. I got a "Z." I'm thinking it will look even better encircled with a Holiday wreath. Only $24 with the sale. Great price for Anthropologie.
Yesterday I drove to Marlton, NJ to the Pottery Barn Kids store to buy Ellie sheets for her big girl bed. I previously mentioned I was choosing between three sets. Of course, the ones I decided on were sold out online and at the King of Prussia store. I went with the Tiny Dancer flannel sheets. Such a cute print for a little girl. In addition to the sheets, I bought this dinnerware set for Ellie that was too cute to pass up:
I'm sure there will be a lot more sales today for Cyber Monday. I am almost finished our shopping. I have just a few more gifts to buy, as well as our parents. Ellie's big gift is a new dollhouse, which we still have to pick out. I also need to buy a few things for Summer (bath toys and books). I do feel like I got a lot accomplished this weekend. I would like to finish my shopping soon so that I don't feel stressed and can focus all of my energy on the girls and doing festive activities. These include all the creative handmade ornaments and crafts I've pinned on Pinterest!
